  1. Based on the two options given. the R7 260X beats the GTX card by a margain of 21%. On full ultra quality, the R7 260X was able to play Tomb Raider at an average of 45FPS.

Spend the extra 10 bucks, the frequency jump is well worth it

There's not much else in that price range worth mentioning. As for the case, it looks like it should fit. Without actually having the case in front of me, its hard to tell, but ive never seen a mid tower that couldnt handle a single GPU before. I say go with it.

If I've answered your question, please vote me best answer so the thread is marked. I will still read your responses and help as best I can
  5. there really isnt anything else in that price? im kind of iffy on the 260x posted above, lots of crashes apparently from that card. how would a 750gtx ti 1GB fair vs those two? do you think id need the extra gb?

The 750ti will be slightly worse since it has less memory. My advice is to choose an r7 260x with a brand you prefer. I can advise MSI. I use them for my GTX 780 and have never had a problem. They also have the best cooling system in the business.
