I am trying to control hot-spots in a server with extra fans and a controller. There are no extra fan connections on the server board. Also, it needs to be a stand alone internal board, not a drive bay or slot mounted. Web searching I found several boards that looked promising, but they all appear to be out of production:

This one is available, but it appears to be more than I need:

Any ideas for a controller that is available would be greatly appreciated>

Solution
You could mount it in a stand alone drive enclosure. The controller is a pcb that is mounted to fit in a drive bay. I imagine you remove it without much trouble.
