Since my parents had purchased this all in one hp pavilion.. I was not surprised on how weak it was.. so i decided to see if i could overclock the cpu since its only at 1.37ghz with amd overdrive and it gave me a error saying the cpu was not an amd cpu.. if anyone could suggest what to do. Thank you.

Yeah you're not going to be able to overclock that. Set it back to default settings.

Your best upgrade is getting an ssd and reinstalling windows on it.

Dam.. thats disappointing.. Im surprise they would even consider to sell a home computer this weak where you could barely accomplish anything on it.. My parents should really consider building there own computers from now on..

My wife's netbook uses an AMD C60 dual core 1.0ghz. I put in a 180GB OCZ Agility III ssd and 4GB RAM, and it's pretty quick. It's plenty fast enough for everyday use.
