About 6 months ago I purchased an xspc raystorm ex240 water cooling kit and the water is looking pretty murky and time for maintenance. Anyone have any advice as to cleaning the kit? What concoction did you use or recommend to clean it (It is pretty bad in my opinion in terms of color)? Secondly, advice on a concoction for filling it back up again with? The first time around I used distilled water with a couple drops of Dead-Water but was wondering if anyone had a better mixture for preventing corrosion and algal build up. This is my first time cleaning anything like this and any guidance would be much appreciated!

You can probably skip some steps depending on what kind of system you have or how gunky it is.

As for refilling, I've usually read that it's usually best to stick to distilled water and an anti-growth agent.

As long as you're using distilled water without mixing metals for the water blocks, corrosion shouldn't be a big worry.
