$1300 build in the future?

Hey guys,

I'm currently saving up to build a PC when I graduate high school. I will graduate in 2016, and I think that my budget will come out to be around $1300 by then. What would be the best components I can get within budget at that time? Will the price of graphics cards drop significantly enough that I'll be able to do a 2-way 780 Ti SLI? Or should I just go with 800 series cards when they're out? I know this might be a noob question but I just want to have an idea of what I'll be able to do when the time comes. Any help is greatly appreciated!

Thanks! Depending on the price I might get a nicer monitor than what I currently have and some speakers. Hopefully I'll be able to upgrade the GPU to a GTX 800 but who knows xD

By 2016, the whole industry will have changed enough that planning a build now would be useless in my opinion. There will be at least 2 generations of both video cards and processors between now and then.

All you need to know this early on is to save a fat budget. Parts will change, and as they don't exist yet, we can't very well give good reviews on them. I mean future proofing is one thing but... You're just plain old getting ahead of yourself lol.

You want an amazing gaming system when you graduate... Save up about $500, spend every bit of your spare time reading online about how to start your own ecommerce site, come up with a good idea and profit! You do it right, by the time you graduate, you could be making far more than I make in a year working for the man!
