Upgrading my motherboard and Videocard on Pavilion P6000 series

I would like to upgrade my HP Pavilion P6731a with a new motherboard, video card and put in a sound card.
I did put a GTX 650 video card in and had trouble with pixelating. I upgraded the PSU to a 850W which it had a 250W which explains why it had nothing it the case.
I am wondering whether this pixelating was because I put a NVidia Geforce card over a Radeon card that was in it before.

Sorry for the delay but had to build another computer, the Pavilion I put a no name PSU in it a 850W and seem to fix the problem up. I changed the video card to the GTX 650 1G card and it runs ok now. I did build another computer due to so many issue when trying to upgrade a HP computers.
