Okay, I may be overcomplicating things but what I plan to do is install Windows 7 (fresh is better I heard) to my brand new Samsung 840 Evo 120GB SSD and move all programs and folders from my old HDD to my new Seagate Barracuda 3TB HDD. Can I do this? or should I just wipe my HDD and re-install everything (my original HDD is full of files I would rather not re-install/download again) I should also mention that I don't know exactly where to start, so if you could link me to a step-by-step or advise me that would be appreciated!

Thanks in Advance!

Install Windows to your SSD first, and only after you're successfully booting into the new Windows, you can delete your old windows folders (make sure you don't delete anything of value to you), reinstall only your most used or larger programs into your SSD (otherwise you'll fill it very quickly) and leave your HDD for bulkier or less used programs and general storage (music, videos, etc).
