Slowly Upgrading System

So i installed the CX500W PSU and the EVGA GTX 760 Superclocked into my DX4380G. Its running smooth but now i want to continue on with upgrades by taking a big leap with the Processor. PC Parts Picker doesn't have the AAHD3-VC on its list (mobo) so trying to find an upgrade is difficult. What would you all suggest?

So what is your budget for a cpu + motherboard upgrade?

You could put an Athlon x4 750k in there but I recommend upgrading your whole platform.

Its pretty stock stuff. 6gb DDR3, Acer AAHD3-VC mobo, AMD A6-500k dual core with integrated graphics.

i want to move away from the integrated and have a nice solid CPU to last me a while.

Right now budget is probably going to be pennies and nickles. But a good direction goes a long way in my book. I'll look at Motherboard compatability upgrades after i acquire the CPU and RAM. Thanks for all the help :D
