Hi, I've got an 760k which is pumping out ridiculous temperatures.
Idling it is anywhere from 50 to 62 degrees, under full load its hitting a whopping 105 degrees.
It is using the stock heatsink and has not been overclocked due to using the stock heatsink.
I've also remounted the HS twice to be sure that wasn't the problem. I mounted it using arctic silver thermal compound also.
I've also had my side panel open when and put the CPU through its paces to feel for the heat, but it runs as expected.
Its also venting cold air when idle and slightly warmer air under load.
Is it a sensor issue or should I be wary?.

My specs are:

MSI FM2-A55M-E33 Motherboard

AMD Athlon II X4 760K Black Edition @ 3.8GHz

8GB (2x4GB) Corsair RAM @ 1333MHz

500W Generic PSU

Palit Nvidia GTX 750 Ti 2GB Edition

I also monitored the temperatures in BIOS and HWMonitor. (Realtemp and Coretemp don't support this CPU)

Anybody tell me the possible roblem for these high readings?

could be wrong or right, but The stock cooler is shocking, I would spend around $20-$40 and get a decent CPU cooler that will keep those temps down, in the long run, your CPU will last longer and you can oc it if you ever wanted to. You might as well just get a new cooler and re-apply a new layer of thermal paste, then your temps will be much more reasonable.

-Since you've re-done the thermal paste, it's defiantly the stock cooler doing a terrible job.
