It has 2 6 pin pci-e connectors but on club 3d website it shows min requirment is 700w 30amp psu but mine is 650w 50amp so I'm scared of blowing up the stuff
lol nah you won't have an issue don't worry. They are way over estimating the power requirements for that card. The amps is more important here but you have plenty of those. The card which only takes 1 6-pin I think can only pull 150w. The PCI slot can give 75w, and the 6-pins are locked at 75w each, so even if it wants two it cannot exceed 225w. That leaves a huge amount for the rest of your system.
Chances are at max load you will only be at about 80% full load on the PSU.
Sure overclocking it won't cause trouble either. Like I said for it to be 170w then it needs two of those 6-pin's. That means its max power usage is 225w.
Idk your system specs, but lets assume you have crazy power usage parts
AMD 200w CPU
Motherboard 10w
2 HDD's 10wx2=20w
2 DVD 10wx2=20w
RAM 30w (Way over estimating)
With that stuff, you are just passing 500w. You will be fine.
