W7 or W8.1????

Hi there, i just bought a new samsung 840 evo for my asus s56 ultrabook. I'm a starter programmer and i need the ultrabook only for visual studio. What could be the best software to install? i wanna boot up and work on VS extremely fast!

Windows 8 has better boot times.

To be honest there is no reason to go for windows 7 for a fresh OS, Win8 just take some getting used to and it has many small improvements over 7.

Windows 7 is DEAD at this point in time there is no reason to get any version of Windows lower than 8. The moment Windows 8 came out Windows 7 became obsolete and as outdated as Windows XP.

not only that, Windows 8 will be DEAD and as outdated as 3.1 as soon as 8.1 comes out in April.
