Hello. I am having an issue with low fps in most every multi player game, yet in single player, fps isnt as big of an issue.

My specs.

Windows 7 64bit OS
FX 6300 3.5 GHz CPU
NVidia GTX 760 2GB GPU
CORSAIR Vengeance 16GB Ram (1600Mhz) 2x8GB
Biostar A960g+ Motherboard
50mbps download 11 mbps upload cable connection with low ping.

When fighting mobs in Diablo 3, Marvel Heros, Path of Exile, League of legends, my FPS will drop from 120 fps to as low as 10 fps, averaing 10 to 20 in team fights.

Games like Battlefield 4, Ill average 35 fps, unless in a huge battle zone, then Ill drop to 10 to 15.

Rust, Dayz, Infestation Survivor Stories, is the same, when I enter areas with a lot of players, my fps takes a nose dive.

Could my Motherboard be the cause of such poor performance? I have friends with lesser builds than me, but have far superior performance.

Also, quality of the game, I try from Lowest to Highest, the action rpgs, I run usually at high, the fp shooters I run at lowest

1600 x 900 resolution.

Also, all drivers are updated, I did a clean install of the OS less than 5 months ago. Porn and non gaming stuff I do on my other pc. :pt1cable:

Would love to know why I am having issues. Thanks

check the % it uses on your cpu or gpu? if so there might be a bottleneck. don't know how?

Ill Check into that, but far as I can tell, that is not an issue, cpu is at 12% atm, with many apps open.

Ill keep cpu-z & gpu-z open as I game and see what I can discover. Also the temp is good, 35c atm after gaming all day. my GPU has decent cooling*not water cooled* and I keep an eye on it, since my xfx 7870 on my other rig gets so hot fast.

also test the 7870 on the gaming rig you have trouble with. if it gets better fps it might be a defective gpu.

I had the 7870 in this rig before I bought the GTX 760, which I reformated after getting the GTX I got even worse fps on the XFX7870, but video editing was easier*only had 8gb ram then. The other pc doesnt have the same cpu as this one atm, but when I had it in this rig, I got less fps in Bf4, dayz, warz and same issues with fps drops in crowded areas.

Even when I upload videos, people ask why the fps is so poor, seeing as I have plenty of ram, a decent gpu/cpu.

I am at a complete loss.

I made a video back before I put in the GTX 760, then after I reformatted, to do a side by side of the 760 and 7870, to see which was better for fps since gpu boss says the 7870 is better, based off pc performance, but said the 760 is better in games.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aKQ05gyRl2s

Shows the GTX 760 has better fps, but then the benchmark isn't on a multi player game=/

cpu didnt go over 27% averaging 140 fps in Diablo 3 fighting a mob. But when I join a group, it nose dives to 12 to 40 fps, all while the cpu maintains roughly the same usage, give or take a few numbers, but never seen it hit over 40% unless rendering videos
