Hey folks,

Left my PC on for a bit whilst I went to do a quick job. Came back and the screen resolution had changed to what it thought was 1074x728 but clearly wasn't.

Opened the screen resolution tab to find it thought it was a "non-generic PnP monitor". Changed this back to a Generic PnP monitor and a 1024x728 monitor but nothing seems to work and allow me to change it back to the original resolution. Pretty frustrating. Any suggestions?

Cheers,

Paul

Will try re-install video card driver in a minute. Have indeed, left it overnight with cables out, came back this morning and tried again to no avail!

Tried a re-install of Drivers to no avail. As soon as they had re-installed it picked it up as a "Generic Non-PnP monitor" once again.

Using a Radeon HD 7770 by the way. Could it be the VGA cable?
