This is Pretty much at the peak of my budget because I still need to buy an OS. I saw a youtube video where pretty much the same rig ran games pretty nicely and would fit in my budget (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5n5dolXyyg0). For OS I have searched for windows 7 and found one from amazon (http://www.amazon.co.uk/Microsoft-Windows-Professional-User-Win7/dp/B008OS5NKW/ref=sr_1_3?s=software&ie=UTF8&qid=1393835733&sr=1-3&keywords=windows+7). Can I use this windows normally? I am not completely sure what refurbished windows 7 means but this is nearly two times cheaper than what I could get from Finland.

Is there something I could/should change? Is the 4 GB ram enough? Sorry if I couldn't express thing properly and thanks in advance for anyone who is willing to help :)

honestly drop the video card. that new of a card and that old of a CPU will bottleneck. there are still some very good Nvidia 550-780s that will be perfect. even some AMD hd 6000+ would work.

other than that it is a great setup

Thanks for the quick answers. I'm now thinking of getting a cheaper video card. And what nashdes001 suggested is a bit too much for my budget. How about the windows version included? It should work, right?

I am 100% sure that Austin Evans wouldn't build a PC that will bottleneck. Plus the 760K is still best entry level CPU for gaming, and it is always recommended by Tom's Hardware Best CPU For The Money in the entry level CPU category.

Yes but you see I changed the card for a bit more pricier. I probably should just go with Austin's build, since it seemed quite capable for me. How would a Radeon HD 7850 2 GB Go with these other components?

This r9 270 needs two power connectors like the r9 270x which imo makes it just a lower clocked r9 270x and should be able to get overclocked decently to r9 270x values, but that's just a theory.
With the motherboard and cpu you also overclock later on.The psu gives anough power for it and is a very good one.
With this motherboard you don't have sata 3 ports (6bg's) so adding a ssd would get limited speeds because of the sata 2 ports (3gb's
).
I picked a case and o.s. that fit your budget,if i had the choice i would pick the next but they make you go over budget,
case:http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/part/cooler-master-case-nse200kkn1 (the k280 should really be good enough in retrospect)
windows:http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/part/microsoft-os-wn700403

Do you btw need a dvd player or do you have one from a previous build to put in for installing the o.s.? You could probably download a iso from somwhere and put it on a boottable usb stick to install.

I tried making a build with those cpu and gpu but I couldn't fit it in my budget.

What comes to the optical drive I do have one in a real old PC (not sure if it works), but might aswell buy a new one. Better safe than sorry.

And a big plus is that I just got a job for the summer so now a my budget is more flexible. Still I don't want to go on a spending spree.

This was my first time posting here and I got good feedback really fast.

Thank you all for helping me out!

I don't think a 660 would bottleneck the CPU.
