Confused about fan connectors

i was wondering what the difference is, do they work with one another, and which works with my mobo?(http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=8324505&sku=G452-1173)

the first image is that of a MOLEX connector, typically an IDE power supply cable for HDDs and ODDs. most fans will come with an adapter to allow the fan to recieve power in instances that you dont have the right fan connecters/ran out of fan connectors on your MoBo. both will work, just make sure your mobo has 3/4 pin fan connections
