that depends on the resolution.
the cpu fx 6300 is a nice cpu able to handle gtx 780 ti so there shouldn't be to much a problem.
r9 270x is an tweaked version of hd 7870 ghz (3-5% better) so as I mentioned it depends on the resolution.
at 1080p it should be able to handle bf 4 at high for 50fps+ and ultra 30fps+ so if that's k yes it can.
do you already own the card?

if you get a cooler master hyper 212 evo you can oc the cpu to 4.2ghz and r9 270x is as well oc friendly gpu which will improve the performance. don't expect steady 60 fps (not even 770 does that).
if you don't own the card already take a look at gtx 760 (good performance for money) and sli friendly later.
as for r9 280x it depends where he lives. some places lost the card while others sell it tooooooooooo expensive.
given he asked about r9 270x I guess his budget is around gtx 760 if he doesn't already own that 270x.

bonie you posted a link which leads to mobile graphics benchmarks O_O.
and the fps depend on the map / texture and shaders quality.
there will be parts of the map where he will get 70fps and places with 20-40fps.

Yes you raise a very good point. I managed to get an Asus R9 280x very early on. I'm based in the UK and prices have gone up by around £30, so i'm not sure if any other cards would be better value right now.

I won't pay more for an gtx 770 if it costs more than 310€ never.
while where I live they try to sell r9 280x wf3 for 270€ but no one buys I see other countries skyrocketing the price of 280x.. ............
like I said given he mentioned r9 270x he either owns it or that's his budget. if he could stretch to gtx 760 that would be a good buy. (depending on country as well. here gtx 760 costs like 260€ NO TY that's ridiculous.)

then if you can afford an fx 8320 it sounds better for a few games which can utilize 8 cores and helps a bit being faster in editing and rendering if you care about that.
if is only for gaming then fx 6300 is a super choice

actually i have almost enough to buy a fx 8350 and r9 280x 3gb but i was just considering the worst case scenario. i've been saving up a lot lately because i've been using laptops for the last 5-6 years so i have to get a desktop pc from scratch. only thing i have for a desktop pc is my trusted g300 gaming mouse which i'm using on my laptop :D

looks like i can do good with it on ultra. since i'm running on between low-medium with 30-40 fps on my laptop, when i jump to ultra i'll be puking rainbows for a while and anything over 50+fps is good for me

just make sure you puke the rainbows back at the monitor so it can find its way to the internet where it belongs, lol
and i didnt think it would pull off ultra but it is a rbranded 1st gen 7970 after all so i can understand

then why not go i5 4670k + asrock z87 fatality if is only gaming. it performs better. that if you don't own amd mainboard already.

good amd mainboard: asrock 970 extreme 4
Gigabyte GA-970A-UD3P
Asus M5A99X EVO R2.0

good intel mainboard: msi z87-g45
asrock z87 extreme 4
asrock z87 fatality
asus z87 - c2
asus z87 - pro

only some info.
amd is a darn good cpu but 8350 (just factory oced 8320) is worth it more if you do some editing, sculpting, 3d rendering as well.
in worst case scenarios I would go fx 8320 (darn good) + r9 280x and if worse fx 6300 and gtx 760.
don't forget cpu cooler. cheap king is hyper 212 evo cooler master which cools damn good up to 4.5ghz. intel and amd integrated crapooler are just crapooler.

and if you don't own psu (main powering unit) don't choose any rubbish. recommend only 2b or higher.
http://www.eggxpert.com/forums/thread/323050.aspx

seasonic s12II/m12II , xfx black and pro editions, antec high current gamer are damn solid.
for one gpu quality psu 520-550-620w is enough
for sli option 700w+ quality should do perfectly.

well for motherboards the asrock is not an option for me because it's not sold here. and as for the processor the 4670k is 80$ more expensive than the fx 8350. for motherboards i'm going to send you a link so you can see what's possible for me to buy. the language is turkish but there are some keywords you can understand quite easily(Yes i'm turkish) http://www.vatanbilgisayar.com/anakart
