Sorry if this is the wrong place to ask this question, but my fps when playing games have been fairly low lately. I have updated all my drivers and it still seems to be lagging. I played League of Legends on all very high settings at around 130 FPS but now I get 20 FPS even on very low settings. It also turns out it's not only league, but when playing sc2 or l4d2 as well. (games in general) The only thing I can think of right now is the Windows 8.1 update which was installed like 3 days ago. Please help me ):

Unfortunately from your screenshot, we have very little to go on other than the amount of memory, graphics card and monitor. Could you post what CPU, and motherboard you have.

In the meantime lets start with what we do know. Did this directly happen after installing Windows 8.1 or your not sure exactly when? Have you installed drivers since installing the 8.1 update? If not, that maybe something you want to try. Uninstall the drivers, reboot and re-install them.

Also what is the GPU temperature at when you are gaming? It could be that your card is overheating and throttling to keep it below a certain temperature.

i'm not really sure when this happened but my guess is after the 8.1 patch. it uses 6.6% ~ 8% cpu and 600mb memory when gaming. i did update my drivers and even reinstalled it several times.

41.0 celsius

Really 41C when gaming? Is it cold in your room? Or is this card water cooler? You should be seeing at least low to mid 60's if not higher while gaming. Something seems off about that. Could you check again?

One very quick check is to try and do a System Restore to a time before you installed the 8.1 update, preferably to a time when you're sure your framerate was "normal".
