Which attribute (i.e. texture quality, anti-aliasing, ambient occlusion etc) affects 1GB cards the most?t

If I have a 1GB card, which setting should I be vary of the most, in terms of hogging vram? Generally, is this the texture quality, texture models, ambient occlusion, anti-aliasing....or something else?

anti-aliasing puts quite a burden on the GPU,,,set it at 4xMSAA and you will get better framerates

AA can eat RAM, but Textures eat a lot as well. Those are the two settings that will likely eat the most RAM on a GPU.

this,AA doesn't make that much a difference,,so you don't need to set it to 16xMSAA or something,,,just 4xMSAA will be fine

aside from the answers above, you can see for yourself. get msi afterburner, hwinfo, set the osd to show gpu ram usage
