Hi guys =]

So im about to upgrade my pc and i thought i would buy a new gpu but, i have a hard time choosing a card. Im not an expert in graphicscards so i need your guys help. Im thinking about buying either a 760 or the 270x. Keep in mind im from EU so the price on the 270x is about 30 bucks below the 760.

My system:
CPU: i5-2320 @ 3.00GHz
Motherboard: Acer Predator G3610
Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit
Memory/ram: 8.0 GB

760 is the better card but is more expensive. 760 is one of the best value in terms of price versus preformance and I would recommend it to any one that wants to game in 1080p.

At that price range of only $30, i would choose the GTX 760. When the prices were not inflated by the coin mining the GTX 760 was only 7% faster than the R9 270X , but 35% more expensive, thus making R9 270X the king of value. Now the gap is closed and GTX 760 is on top again in therms of performace/price

An R9 280 is supposed to release for similar price as as GTX 760. If you want gsync go GTX,if you don't care about that and want more raw power the similarly priced R9 280non-x would be more powerful card.

What power supply do you have? Model, brand.

MSRP will be $250, just like its predecessor the HD 7950. Now to say it stays at that price is another story, with crptyocurrency inflating prices. Although I don't see too many miners jumping on the card as there are better GPUs like 290s.

Your PSU is fine. The 760 is the better card over the 270x. They are close in some games. For 30 euros, it is a toss up to which to get. They will both play 1080p well. The 280 is coming out soon and should be a little better than the 760, but not much. We will have to wait and see about actual prices.
