Hi guys.i purchased a gtx 750 ti recently.a zotac gtx 750 ti to be exact.it runs fine, but the fps is remarkably low compared to all the videos i have seen on the internet.i knew i would have a bottleneck when i purchased the card but not this bad.i can hardly play crysis 3 even on 720p with settings set to low.here are my specs

Intel DG41RQ mobo
Intel Core 2 Duo E4500 2.2 ghz
2 GB Ram DDR2
Corsair VS550 PSU.

If it helps,i have read that this certain card needs a 6 pin pcie connector but there was no such slot on the card nor that i get a molex-to-6 pin converter as mentioned on zotac's site.any help would be really appreciated.

Edit -------

I have confirmed after speaking to the seller i bought it from that the GTX 750 TI i'm using doesn't have the 6-Pin connector in the retail version.so it isn't needed.here's a photo showing my CPU Usage running at 100% while my card is idling at 31% steadily.can this be considered a bottleneck?

Thank you.

Probably have not enough power running to the card, it's a very lower power consumption card, so I'd guess it really needs that 6Pin connector to run at full capacity.

Try getting a PSU with that type of connector, or an adapter, I'd suggest that you get a new PSU.

XFX, Antec, and EVGA make some pretty good PSU's

XFX Pro/core would be nice.

You have 2GB DDR2 Ram and an ancient cpu. That is where the bottleneck lies. Check your gpu usage its not gonna go even near 100%. Are you from the Philippines dude. You sound like you do.

Thanks.i thought it might be a bottleneck,i have confirmed that my GPU doesn't need a 6-pin connector because the seller from whom i bought it has told me that the retail versions do not have any need for it.it's listed on their website.i'm thinking of upgrading my cpu,ram and mobo in the coming months.here is my list,

AMD FX-6300 AM3+ 3.5 GHZ cpu
ASRock 960 GC-GS FX motherboard
A couple of 4x1 Corsair Vengeance DDR3 ram sticks.

And a Corsair Carbide 400r Chassis.

you think this would do fine?

Oh man, epic fail.its actually an e4500 not an e8400.i'd reckon if it were an actual e8400 my state would be much better than it is right now.i'm attaching a photo for comparison, which shows Crysis 3 running with CPU Usage at 100% and the GPU clearly just lying bored on a steady 31%.would this be a clear sign of a bottleneck?

for sure core to duo at 2.2Ghz will bottleneck the card. even my 2.93Ghz E7500 (dual core) processor bottlenecked my GTX460 which is much slower than GTX750 Ti. if you really have tight budget then that FX6000 setup you're planning would be good upgrade.
