My 7850 is literally on it's last leg. I keep getting driver crashes whenever I OC it to a clock that it used to be stable at, games sometimes freeze for a few seconds and then resume as if nothing happened, and the second fan is just dead, I don't even know. I have to keep a wire in front of the fan to keep it from spinning because if it does then it starts to rattle the card extremely hard, hard enough for me to feel my entire case vibrate, so I have to keep fan #1 on 100% 24/7.

I just ordered a new EVGA GTX 770 ACX Superclocked Edition last night and I was wondering if there's anything I should do before I install the card. I know I should uninstall catalyst first, but that doesn't seem like it would be a really "clean" install.

Can anyone help? Also, any advice as to what I should do with the 7850?

You would probably be OK with a simple catalyst uninstall.
But, there are driver sweepers around that might do more.
Here is one: http://www.guru3d.com/content_page/guru3d_driver_sweeper.html
Regardless, I would do a system checkpoint to give you a restore point before I did anything.

On the 7850, can you replace the defective fan?
If you can get the unit working properly at stock, then you can sell it on ebay as a functioning unit.
If it no longer works properly, you will need to disclose the exact condition and sell it as such.
I would take pains to fully disclose what the condition is in your listing.
To find if it is worth your time, find your card in the proper condition. Then filter by completed auctions. You will see in green what the unit actually sold for.
