hi, ive got a problem. i bought a new pc with msi b85-g43-gaming and r9 280x msi gaming.

my problem is that if i install realtec drivers for sound card, the sounds stops work, and it writes something like "audio servis is not running". So i have tried enabling it but still nothing. i dont know if it is the problem, but i have plugged on to my motherboard HD Audio for front panel instead of AC'97. I heard something like that graphics cards have its own sound cards, so it may collide somewhere. i just dont know what to do, without drivers is sound working but i cant set few things like 5.1 audio etc. without drivers it goes just 2.1...thats all what i know about this. I would be glad if someone could help me.

for more question just ask, i will answer it and thanks for help

Solution
It is true that some GPUs have audio built in. Even some Intel CPUs have it too.

Install the Realtek driver. Be sure that it is the one from MSI, not Realtek site.

Go to Control Panel>Hardware and Sound>Sound and see that your Realtek is the default device on the list. See if that fixes your problem.
