Better graphics card for minecraft

Hello I'm looking for a better graphics card for minecraft i usually get around 30-40 fps on only low setting
I am willing to spend at tops 80 dollars maybe a bit more maybe a bit less
Things i do
-Play Minecraft
-record minecraft
-want to play on higher settings

Don't waste your money on the 240,you should go with this http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814202084 or any 7770 card the additional $9 is so worth it for the performance,but before you buy samething may I ask whats your PSU & CPU?

Well if his psu is crap 750 ti will be a great deal or if he can't afford that much 7750 will be the best choice.

yeah these graphics will push you out of the low settings.

you can probably play fast with pretty good render settings past 60 fps.

what are your complete specs?

Spec basically means all the stuff you have inside your computer, aswell as what operating system you run.

To find the main specs of your computer you will have to:

For Windows: Find the application called 'Run' if you are using Windows XP it should be on the start menu, if you are using Vista, you will have to search for it.

Once you have found Run type in dxdiag and hit enter, it may ask you to allow it, if so just accept. It will then scan your computer and bring up the main specs of it.

or just download CPU-Z and GPU-Z to check your specs i don't know if you can see the PSU specs though...so you might wanna open your system unit and check your PSU details.

Minecraft's a CPU depending game. You should be looking at a CPU now! Minecraft only uses 2 cores, so singlethreaded performance is important.. get an Intel Core i3 or AMD FX CPU which has 4 cores, just for other tasks

Pultrax :

This would probably require a new motherboard/ram, as well as operating system reinstall. A $$$ upgrade.
