Hello everyone,

I just ordered this:

Kingston Technology HyperX 8 GB (2x4 GB Modules) 1600 MHz DDR3 Dual Channel Kit (PC3 12800) 240-Pin SDRAM KHX1600C9D3K2/8GX

Gigabyte Intel H81 Mini ITX DDR3 1600 LGA 1150 Motherboard GA-H81N

Intel Core i3-4330 Dual Core Processor 3.5 2 NA (BX80646I34330)

I did not read until I ordered it that the memory voltage on the mobo is at 1.5v and the RAM is at 1.65v. I am worried that I ordered the wrong RAM. Will it work? Will it damage anything if I try? Should I return it and get 1.5v RAM?

Also, I got this from the Gigabyte site. It is a list of supported memory. If you copy KHX1600C9D3K2/8GX and paste it in "Find", this memory I ordered is on the list. However, It doesn't say anything about the voltage.

Thank you in advance for your response, help and suggestions.

Solution
Can go either way, a high voltage need in what amounts to entry level sticks (1.65 vs the standard of 1.5) can be indictive of weak memory chips, about 90% of all 1600 sticks are rated 1.5 or less.......1.65 can also add more unneeded heat

this is not an answer it's a question i built my own pc this is it

processor core i5 4460 quad core 3.2 cache 6 m
motherboard gigabyte h-81 s2ph
hard drive seagate barracuda 1.5 tera
8 g ram hyper x BLACK
PSU 550 WATT

i didn't notice that the board is a 1.5 volt but the black ram is 1.65 and the returning policy in Egypt would mean that i would loss a lot of money to replace the ram >> so what do you think i should do
