I was wondering if I could fit a mini ITX motherboard in a mid ATX case. The Enermax ostrog GT specifically.

I'm pretty sure the 4 mounting holes for a mini-itx board are in the same positions as 4 of the atx/microatx mounting holes, so that should work.

it sould work but...

why would you go for a mini itx in a normal case? typically you need a small motherboard to fit in a small case, with a normal case you don;t need to enforce the small motherboard constraint.

@Laviniu Campean I was figuring the OP already had the mini-itx motherboard and might already be planning to get a larger motherboard later.

Yes that's what I'm doing. My friend and I both need PC's for our gaming channel so we're getting a new PC with An AMD processor and our current Mini ITX MB only supports intel. We didn't want to buy 2 new motherboards because we're on a budget so I wanted to see if it could fit. Thanks for the help guys.
