No clue what to do.

I finished building my new pc and when i go to start it up (outside of case on a cutting board) with a screwdriver the fans spin for half a second and stop,i can't get it to start at all and i really don't know what to do can someone please help.

I have checked that list beforehand and made sure i did everything right,so i still have no idea how to fix this problem.(also i have been having this problem for about 6 days and i originally thought my mother board had been fried because i got it to work for a couple minutes then when i put it back in the case it wouldn't work so i took it back out and it still wouldn't work so i bought a new one,and here i am again with the same problem.)

I have checked all the pins they are fine and i do not have another psu.
