PLEASE: Do not reply unless you absolutely know what you are talking about, thanks.

I have a very expensive setup here that I want to make sure everything will work fine and this computer will last long.

Here is my setup:

GPU: EVGA GeForce GTX 780 Ti

CPU: Intel Core i7-4930k

Motherboard: Asus P9X79 LE ATX LGA2011 (Don't worry, I will update the BIOS)

Cooling System: Cooler Master Eisberg 240L Prestige 60.2 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler

Memory: G.Skill Ripjaws Z Series 16GB DDR3-1866

SSD: A-Data XPG SX900 128GB 2.5"

HDD: Hitachi Travelstar 5K1000 1TB 2.5" 5400RPM

Case: Cooler Master Cosmos II ATX Full Tower Case

PSU: SeaSonic Platinum 1000W 80+ Platinum Certified Fully-Modular ATX

OD: Asus DRW-24F1ST DVD/CD Writer

OS: Windows 8.1 Pro 64-Bit.

All parts: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/33rpx

Once again, can you tell me if this is a good/compatible setup that will last a long time? Thanks.
Also will the Cooling System work for this setup?

Solution
Yes, the build is compatible. There are a few component choices that should probably be re-considered. The 2.5" 5400RPM HDD should be replaced with a 3.5" 7200RPM drive like the Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive. You can also save some money on the OS since all you need is the OEM version. Microsoft Windows 8.1 Pro (OEM) (64-bit) ($135 w/free shipping @ Amazon)

The i7-4930k and 16GB of RAM are not great choices for a gaming system unless you're also going to be doing video editing or something similar that will utilize the extra cores and RAM. You would be better off going with a faster SSD like the Samsung 840 Pro Series 128GB for such a high-end machine.

If that cooler is...

Some balancing problems
-If it is just for gaming, i don't see much use for i7 4930k. Intel i5 4670k is better oriented for gaming and much cheaper
-16GB of RAM is also useless in gaming. 8 GB of RAM is all you need
-At least get decent 3.5 HDD, something like Western Digital Caviar Black
-The case is very big and unnecessary in my opinion. You can get pretty good case with half the price of the Cooler Master Cosmos II
-Also you don't need that much power from the PSU, a nice 800-850w will be enough even for SLI/Crossfire with the latest GPU's

If that cooler is anything like their Seidon or Nepton line then it will be very loud.

Checking some of the Newegg reviews seems to confirm that it is very loud. I would go with something like the Corsair H110. The H110 will work great in the Corsiar 500R case.

Ok, I took both of your guises advice and replaced the OS with OEM Version, I replaced the SSD and HDD with your version, but a few things I would like to mention: When it comes to CPU, RAM and Case. I simply love the case, I do not mind paying the extra money as long as it works. I love the CPU that I picked. Could you explain why it isn't the best choice, money isn't an object. The RAM, I just like having extra for I can run multiple things at once. Shortstuff, the cooler you picked, would it work in that case I picked?

The CPU isn't a good choice just because it doesn't give you any better performance in games than something like the i5-4670k. Most games simply don't benefit from i7 chips, so they are considered a waste of money for a gaming system.

I'm not positive if the H110 will fit in the Cosmos II case. The H100i will fit, but I recommended the Corsair 500R because I know the H110 works with it. You may have to contact Cooler Master to see if the H110 will work.

Ok, I will switch to the H100i, the CPU, TBH, I do not know if I will be recording or not so I would like to stick with what I got. But the CPU will perform as good as the one you suggested correct, just more expensive? One more thing, how long do you think this setup will last?

Edit: I decided to save some money and downgraded the PSU wattage to 860, still same brand and 80+ Platinum
