So i've bought myself a Sapphire R9 280x 3GB to get a better geming performance. Ever since i got my computer, i've been using a GTX 660. I have always been using 3 monitors (2 DVI-I and 1 HDMI). I installed the new graphics card, and connected all my monitors. When i am turning on my compter, the monitor with the hdmi connected has a bit strange resolution. The picture doesn't show up on the whole monitor, it's like a black frame all around, but that's only on the hdmi. I can't really find any kind of problems with my monitors connected with the DVI-I cables. I have installed all the latest drivers, and can't really figure out what to do. I'd really appreciate some help.

I take it since you have three monitors you have an active display port link cable for the R9 280x. If not you need one.

The other thing did you remove the Nvidia video drivers off the system before installing the Ati drivers. If not remove the Nvidia video drivers.

So you think by getting one of those cables will solve my problem? Shaun o..
