Hello,

I have been wanting to get a new mobo for overclocking and I have narrowed it down but I don't know what would be best for it. All I want to do for now is OC my CPU but I really don't know which to get or if none of these are the best for OC'ing the CPU.

Here are the choices that I think are good:
ASRock Fatal1ty 990FX Killer
ASRock Fatal1ty 990FX Professional
Asus Sabertooth 990FX R2.0
ASRock 990FX Extreme 9

Or, should I just save up some more money and switch to an intel setup?

I would like to do some live streaming of games with my PC so would it be better just to switch?

Any help is appreciated.
Thanks in advance!
:)

well, if you dont need the extra features and such, then go with a cheaper board. the boards you posted can overclock pretty good.
ASRock 990FX Extreme9 is great, but still a little pricey.
ASUS M5A99FX PRO R2.0 is great too, and a little cheaper.

Wow, that is a little pricey, but if it'll get me the best overclock I think it would be worth it.

I have heard however that some if not most of the higher priced boards aren't worth it because you hardly ever use the extra features so would it be best to go with a lower not as feature heavy board?

Yeah, I have heard a lot of good things about both of those boards, especially the ASRock Extreme 9 so I might go with that one. I'll do a little more research and see which has the most features for the money.

Thanks for the help!
