I'm upgrading basically everything in my computer and all I'm stuck on so far is on which graphics card I should purchase.

I want to get a card that I can play games on and also run programs from 3d modeling, animation, and video editing for.

I was thinking about getting the 770 from either EVGA or Gigabyte. I know that a 780 would be a better choice but is it worth the extra $200 or so for one? I'm open to other options as well if anyone has one.

Solution
I have the Gigabyte GTX 770 it runs quiet and its smooth and very powerful and stays nice and frosty, so im sticking with my answer :)

Well of course the 780 is better, but the 770 is going to do basically everything you want at the moment since im guessing youre not doing any 4K, also get the gigabyte since the windforce is a great cooler.

Would having the sli 750Ti's give better performance than a 770? Anything is currently better than the 560ti I have right now though.

Nothing 4k, maybe 2k but mostly 1080p.

Thanks for the quick reply, I appreciate it.
