low disk space

Totol size of C drive is near about = 48 GB
total size including all files and folder (hidden) near about = 26.7 GB
low disk space icon shown by window XP ( free space = 1.80 GB only)
where is the 20 GB data (Appx) is gone
i deleted all unneccerry files, difragmeting not working due to low space available

Well some hidden files wont get deleted, that's why their hidden, they may be important, A good way to see what may be taking a lot of space, go to your computer and in the search bar type .mov or other type of media files like .raw as they can be quite a big size, also go into your control panel and uninstall programs and click by size to see if you have any crap you don't want or need.

Also go into your downloads folder, I delete mine quite often as it may contain a lot of junk.

There is probably a lot of junk you don't want or need, I recently done this with only 5GB left on my 500GB C drive and cleared 120Gb on crap.
