I currently have a 660 graphics card and it works fine but i intend to get into more demanding things like high graphics gaming at higher res and other things, i intend to have a 2x2 1080p monitor setup and i want to get decent frames (30fps+) on most games i wont be running 2x2 all the time but it would be nice, i was curious whether i should get another nvidia card or go with crossfire, I currently have a fx4100 but intend to get a 8350 to replace it, my budget per card is in the range of 200-350

would be a good idea, however most i can find are 3gb versions, and 780 has a higher budget per card than id prefer, if going with nvidia im only looking for 1 card and would be running sli 350 would be my maximum price for a single card

If you're going to spend that much on a single 780 4GB then I would SLI two 770s, you would get more performance.

im fine with single carding it, as long as it will be able to run alright in a surround situation with still decent frames, 780 is just out of budget range 200 was range for dual cards 350 was single im trying to figure out which would be better for the situation frame and quality wise for my multi monitor setup the amd line or nvidia
