Hi Guys i need some inputs..

i just bought ATI RADEON SAPPHIRE 7750HD 2gb ddr3,

After installing its driver, i ran DXDIAG and the Approx. Total Memory is just 751MB, it should be 2048MB, right?

is my vcard defective? can someone please explain it to me? Thanks..

DXdiag is buggy and not accurate. Download GPU-Z and check that.

well, it is almost unheard of for a graphics card to show less ram than it should like that, so i doubt it is defective. go into your bios and check the amount of vram it says you have.

just downloaded the GPU-Z, well all the informatino about the said vcard was there. but my next question is, is my computer really using that 2048MB or just the 751MB shown in dxdiag is used?

the OS doesnt limit the vram, not that i know of. and if it did, it would probly be 3.25gb

Don't trust DXdiag. Its useless. It hasn't been accurate in quite a number of years. My 6870 1gb is stated as being a 4gb model, which they have never made.
