Hello,

I have an old motherboard P55 LE. I got a new SSD that I'm trying to switch it as primary and change to the AHCI setting, which I think I know how to do, but if anybody got a quick link instruction that would be helpful. :)

(1) Anyhow my question is that I've pressed almost every key (F1, F2, F4, F5, F6, F7, F8, F9, F12, Del) to get the BIOS up during the start up, but each time it just load straight to sign in screen. :??:

The BIOS was functioning back when I had Window 7. Ever since I updated to Window 8, I have not try to get into BIOS until now, which clearly is not loading up, so I'm not sure if that has any effect.

Any comment and tips? What's the issue here, i.e. why is BIOS not loading up? What can I do?

(2) Another odd thing is that I have to unplug my HDD in order to load straight into my SSD. Otherwise if I have both HDD & SSD plug into, the computer load into two window options: one for HDD and another for SSD. I can only load into HDD if both drivers are plug in. When I try to load into SSD w/ two drivers plug in, I get an error. I'm thinking if I get into the BIOS and switch AHCI and change primary load to SSD, that would solve the problem.

Anybody know what's going on and how I can resolve this predicament?

Much Appreciate in Advance
