Ok basically at the moment, my network goes like this - Modem to Router to Computer.
my pc is about 3 rooms away and i have a cable that ive installed under the house into my room and into my pc
I also want to hook up an xbox 360 Pro Console to the internet
My friend suggested i buy this, its the cheapest switch in my local area and looks good so i plan to buy it and hook up the internet to it, then my pc and my xbox 360
now my question is. is there any special setup ill have to do, like bridging or setting ips and stuff. ( im abit of a nooby )
or can i just plug and go, my router hands out ip's to my dad's pc and mine with DHCP and yea. this would be connected to the router, than to my devices

sometimes when add like a switch and computer or two the router won't always pick everything up right off the bat, when recycled the router will check all attached and make needed adjustments
