connecting 2 houses

ok so i have 2 houses different streets in the same town. i would like to be able to have the together person that has the same isp to be able to see my network with the network drives i have set up. how do i do this?

Create a VPN connection between the two houses or create an open port in your router that they can tunnel though to reach your internal network connection the drives are on. Your router should have a DMZ connection you can setup and place the shared resources on there, just keep in mind that will open up some security holes on your network so you need to be aware of how your firewalls and user rights work.
