If I was using the q6600 I would opt for a newer LGA 775 chipset. the p45 chipset is great for overclocking and you would be able to get that q6600 to a reasonably higher frequency /clock speed. If you can find one. But I do remember that CPU having issues with the 945g chipset...well remember reading about it somewhere
