I just did an ASUS Mobo that supports these parts, but was DoA not once but TWICE with ruined BIOS in place (friend of the family had the diagnostic equipment, came back with an 88 which is basically translated to "Your bios are ****ed"
I need a reliable motherboard that supports the parts in the link below, having 2 arrive with useless ruined bios out of the box left a nasty taste in my mouth regarding ASUS.

as far as the memory listed, I can use either the Ares or Ripjaws as I have both on hand.
The video card is a PCI-E 3.0, the processor is an FM2 slot.
If the mobo can be kept to under $100, that'd be awesome.

Quick FYI, the site in the link does a very bare-bones compatibility check, so it's worthless when it comes to RAM or gfx cards.

Thanks!

Generally, the QVL is only a list of 'RAM we had in the lab at the time'. There's always RAM not on the list that will work, that's what standards are for. Same goes for GPUs.

Both of those sticks are 99% likely to work, though working together is slightly harder to predict. Should, though.

The only thing that you need to worry about is usually the CPU.

Unfortunately, after looking over the specs on the board, it doesn't seem to support either set of RAM, only other versions of what I'm toting.

it was an ASUS F2A85M Pro, and I can't find anything on the Asrock supporting either set of RAM I have on their site.

I'm still digging around myself for a mobo that DEFINITELY supports one of the two sets of RAM as well as the processor and GPU, still having a hell of a time finding one... xP
