For my computer build I got the TP-Link 300mbs Wireless n Adapter. While it says it has 300mbs of speed I can only get 130mbs out of it. Also I cannot download programs and play games on it because the games ping will suddenly spike while doing so. And while trying to stream on twitch I also lag out of games for some reason. Any ideas why this is happening and how I can fix it?

130 mb/s is normal for the transfer speed. need more detail about your internet provider.do you use tv cable/ADSL/wifi ?

you mean the transfer speed is 13 MB/s in real right? Wireless standards never get up to the theoretical maximum. 300Mbps is half duplex and therefore you really only have 150Mbps of available bandwidth in ideal conditions. so 130Mbps is normal. even a 100Mbps Lan Card just delivered 10MB/s.
