Hey guys,

Im building a new pc, and I need to pick a motherboard. It will be for gaming and yes, I will overclock.
Here's some things to consider:

I will use an i7 4770k CPU.
It needs to overclock my CPU nicely to 4.5 ghz.
It needs to be ATX size.
I'm going to SLI after saving up, so I will need a 2-way SLI capable mobo.
I will over clock my gpu too soon.
I'm using a 650w 80+Gold fully modular psu inside an nzxt phantom 410.
It needs to last me a while before i build a new pc (5 years maybe).
I will stream games/photo editing and video editing-render.
I will get 1866mhz Crucial Ballistix XT 2x8 gb modules.
I need USB 3.0 headers.

Preferred manufacturers:
1. Asus/gigabyte/ASrock
2. Bio star/MSI(i heard many bad things about MSI, haven't had any personal experience though).

Which one do you guys reccomend?

Thnx.

Lol this is the exact same problem I've had before, I can't choose the best out of the options.
From my lazy research:
The extreme6 has 22% of its reviews as bad on newegg
The fatality killer was what I liked a lot and it had 14% of its reviews saying its bad(not bad actually)
The gigabyte d3h has only 10% bad reviews(by far the best I've seen).
And the asus.....well it only has 2 reviews.

Can you pick the best one plz? I knows its a noob request but i actually can't decide. Another option to consider is the MSI, many people have reccomended it on this website.

Ok, since tons of people are reccomending the msi, it will be one of my good options. So the asrock z87 fatal1ty killer, gigabyte z87 d3h, gigabyte z87 d3hp, asus z87-a, asrock extreme 4 and MSI z87 g45 gaming are my options. Still can't figure out which is best.

Yes, and it looks epic as well. I'm leaning towards it over the asrock extreme6, but it may change....

choose which ever u want!
my suggestion msi

Ok. I've compared both mobos. You are good to go with MSI G45 as this mobo beats Extreme in some features. At basic level both are at par.

Good Luck,

I think the MSI is great but running a side by side against the ASRock Z87 Extreme4 I went with the ASRock 4 for the simple fact it allows for HDMI pass through so my ps4 gaming console could share the same monitor. Here is a head up comparison. Also won Toms hardware award for best buy of 2013
