depending upon your version of the GTX 650 a base model is about as strong as a higher end GTS 450 in gaming performance. The SSC versions would be on par with the average 550ti card that being said the 650 would be much more versatile than the 550ti due to its size and power consumption 64 watts vs 116 watts on the 550ti
