I have Toshiba satellite a100 model number PAANC-VA305C. I have not been able to access the recovery partition to reset to "factory" (out of box) settings. I have tried several suggestions like holding down zero while restarting,...tried F8 key. I typed in "Toshiba recovery" in start menu search box. In "advanced boot menu" there is no option for reset.

The options in advanced boot menu are:

Safe mode
Safe mode with networking
Safe mode with command prompt

Enable boot logging
Enable low resolution video (640x480)
Last known good configuration (advanced)
Directory services restore mode
Debugging mode
Disable automatic restart on system failure
Disable driver signature enforcement

Start windows normally.

Sorry to include options that appear unlikely to be the one, but I've never asked a question in a forum before and am being inclusive.

Thank you for any direction on this matter.

I'm not sure if this is where I reply?
I finally heard the beeping! The options showed for utilities "F1". I chose it and have 5 choices:

HDD
FDD
CD/DVD
LAN
USB Memory

These are under "Boot Tab"

Other tabs are:

Main
Advanced
Display
Security

Not really sure which is correct option?
