I just received my new GPU and PSU. R9270x and Zm600 lx. I've installed them right away in a joyful and excited mood. But now computer won't boot up. I see the 5v led in the mother board light up and I also see every fan going. I think I've plugged them in properly. I get no response on the screen. I don't think it's the GPU that's causing the problem... I don't even see the motherboard screen turn on... Like before I used to have the bios and things show up on the screen but now nothing. Computer shuts off right away when I press the power button which makes me think that it's the motherboard that's causing this problem... Right now I'm thinking I should take that CMOS battery out for a min and put it back in see if that does anything anyway guys helpppppp. I'm just hoping that I didn't F up the board...

Start by removing the GPU and try to boot up using the motherboard video output. If that works then try to re-install the GPU and make sure it is properly seated and that any required power cables to the card are connected.

I jus tried without the graphic card and it works without it. Then when I plug it back in it won't work. Not even the bios shows up on the screen... It's plugged in correctly I believe. The fan of the GPU is spinning just fine...

Another fact. 270x requires two 6pins... When I plug one of them in only it seems like the mother board is working but when I plug in both of them... It's not..

make sure you have COMPLETELY wiped the drivers from your old card, then shut down, put in your new card and let it start up, see if windows discovers it and you get a picture. let it install, and windows do its thing once its discovered. when its finished install the latest drivers.

oh and make sure your bios has on board graphics disabled... this may work, as it has worked for me in the past.

Tell me if this is ok. The two 6 pin that I'm using are right next to each other... Like they're meant for sli... And I had them plugged in like that. The thing is though when boot properly my main board beeps. But when I have the new GPU plugged in. It won't even beep. I don't even see the hard drive running on the front panel of the pc

Double check the quick install sheet that came with the graphics card to make sure you have it hooked up right.

Connect the monitor to the motherboard graphics output and see if you get any video from there. If so then you have to tell the bios which graphics to use.
