My current setup is as follows

Motherboard: Asus cross hair formula V Z
RAM: 16 gigs Corsair vengeance
CPU: AMD 8350
GPU: Nvidia Zotac 760 amp edition
PSU: EVGA Supernova 750w

my problem is i have been getting strange readings from HWMonitor i will leave my computer for the day and come home with Max temp readings on the socket of 128c and drops on my 12v as low as 1.2 i uninstalled AI suite thinking that this might have been an issue since i all so just updated to windows 8.1 during gaming today all my temps seemed fine but at some point my socket temp reached a Max of 73c but i have never seen the temps that high when im actively watching the socket temp while gaming or running prime 95 i have updated my bios i added a small fan to the back of my case blowing on my mother board has any one else had problems like this im not sure at this point if this is a windows 8 glitch with temp monitoring software or if im having some kind of malfunction with the sensors

this is a pic of HWmontior at the moment running with some load on the system after resetting the min/max readings

i suppose i will just have to depend on the bios then and ignore the random max temps i get some times and TMPIN2
this was the first time i had such random readings i was worried it was a problem with my motherboard thank you for answering and trying to help me with my problem im going to try and get a better OC now :)
