Well, look at the system in my signature. It is able to play BF4 on Ultra settings on a Full HD TV (1920x1080) [And maybe on 4k resolution but never tried it]. You can get better parts with your budget. My specs would cost around 800$ US i.e. about 955$ NZD. What resolution will you play on?

Hi,

With your budget i would recommend going intel for the cpu. If you are just building for gaming then go with the i5 4670k, it blows everything else out of the water once you overclock it. The rest is really up to preference.

A few more questions need to be answered:
- Will you be wanting to move your pc a lot? i.e. going to LANs etc
- Will you be looking to expand to dual/triple/quad GPU configs later, or even adding a tonne of HDD's?
- Are you going to be using the computer for more than just gaming?

Answer these and i can give you a more definitive list of parts to have a look at.

Have you possibly thought about doing a mini itx lan box? now-a-day they are pretty strong. Only downside is they aren't very up gradable.
Another way of getting the best of both worlds would be to go with a small mid tower build with a case that is easily accessible and movable.

These are my recommendations for an Mini ITX LAN box:
http://nz.pcpartpicker.com/p/33SaB (This includes Windows OS)
And my recommendations for a mid tower build:
http://nz.pcpartpicker.com/p/33S6v (Add ~$150 for Windows OS)

Both these builds leave about $350 for monitor, keyboard and mouse etc..

R9 270X doesn't get 60+ fps in BF4 on ultra,. But on high settings, yes it will get 60+ fps

I'm sorry but that CPU will bottleneck that GPU if you want no bottlenecking issues and full future proof performance then i suggest going for an i5 thats more than 210$.
