I recently purchased an ASUS N550JV-DB71 laptop, and it's only about a month old. I try to take good care of it.

I decided to take it for a long commute, via train and walking. When I got home, I noticed that sometimes certain keys on the keyboard would not work, and that I'd have to press the key again, usually harder, for the key to register. The problem somehow solved it'self within a few minutes. I then disregarded the problem.

The same thing happened yesterday, when I took my laptop to university, but it fixed itself once again. I have no idea why.

Today, I walked around with my laptop quite a lot, only to realise that the problem had seemed to worsen. The keys: space, n, b, and enter occasionally do not work, and when I use the short cut fn+f3 to brighten my backlit keyboard, it would lighten it up, but if I performed the same command again, it would reduce brightness. (fn+f3 should ONLY lighten up the backlit keyboard)

I keep my laptop in a very thin bag to protect it from scratches, and I then I put my laptop into my backpack, which is reasonably padded. I have never dropped, kicked or roughly handled my bag whilst my laptop was in it. Whenever my laptop is in my bag, it's in sleep mode.

Can anyone please enlighten me as to what the heck is happening to my laptop? It ONLY occurs when I put it in my bag and travel for a bit.

Insightful responses are appreciated, thanks.
