Hello everyone , i have Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit and i cannot connect to the internet, i tried to reinstall my internet card drivers but it didnt work, i tried allmost everything and im really curious. I had windows xp with it i had no problem with internet connections. Also when i try to change the local area connection settings, the box freezes any ideas on this? I have a TL-WR841N modem

Is your network card installed properly? Check Device Manager. If it was working in XP but not in 7, that shows you don't have drivers installed. Go to the PC vendor support site and get the Windows 7 drivers. If your model does not have Windows 7 drivers, do a web search for them, sometimes you can get them directly from the hardware vendor of the network card.

I'm guessing you'll need to do the same thing for the video and sound cards.

Go to the Start Button (Windows Sphere) the select the search at the bottom. In the search type CMD. This will open a terminal. In the terminal type IPCONFIG and tell us what you get. You can also use IPCONFIG > CONFIG.TXT to output your data to a text document.
