Whats a good video card upgrade for my system

Just basci ? of whats a good nvidia card to upgrade my system with here's the spec.

Processor Intel Core i7 i7-920 @2.67GHz 2.67GHz
9 gigs DDR3 at 1333MHz
Graphics ProcessorNVIDIA GeForce GTX 260
Graphics ControllerPCI Express 2.0 x16 - Plug-in card

You've not mentioned mobo. You can use GTX 760 with this CPU easily. 500W will be more than enough

power supply is 500w peak budget is anything 200-350ish.

not 100% sure on the MB tring to find out now so far I found out:
Intel X58 motherboard.
sorry I've been slacking on pc research havent had a reason too keep up in long time

cool thanks. I got this pc at best buy 2-3 years ago or more. I havent had a pc built in a good while based on the specs is this considered a nice pc ? just curious :)

can I only use cards that are pci express 2.0 x 16 or can I also use the 3.0 ones

You can use cards with 3.0 on your PCIe 2.0 x16 slot. No issue there
