Ok....a semi long post.

I have a msi fm2 a55m e33 mobo.

1. Bought this pre built medium end gaming rig for my son.
2. He moved out of his mother's leaving his PC for her to use and after 7 months of being away. His mother asked him for the Admin password to install programs.
3. He nor I can remember the Admin password. I'm positive here that some one other than my son may have changed it
4. I created a Guest Account and advised him to use it instead of the Admin Account.

THE BOOT TO BIOS ISSUE
=====================

I picked up his PC and I can get to the login screen on my LCD T.V.
I can do the same with my Projector connected to it

1. When the T.V. & Projector are connected to the PC. I "get a screen signal" ONLY when the PC is 2-7 seconds off churning into the USER LOGIN Screen. By this time it's obviously skipped past the BIOS Screen.

2. Not once after multiple attempts with a VGA & HDMI cord swap, have I been able to get a screen signal (you know....The black screen signal prior to hitting "the delete button") that normally shows before showing the BIOS Screen.

I rang MSI and was told to install "Fast Boot" and when installed to "disable it"

1. Not possible without the Admin password.

2. I have read some threads where some users say a usb enabled keyboard can handicap booting in to BIOS mode compared to a ps2 corded keyboard.

3. I bought a $10 dedicated PC monitor in case there may have been incompatibility issues with signal exchanges between my LCD T.V. & my Projector. Unfortunately I couldn't test this theory because the Monitor would not get any signal from the PC. So I returned it and am presently trying to source another cheap monitor to test this theory out again.

4. 2 weeks ago this PC (after 2 years since purchase from the builder) permanently displays the old (the operating system is a non genuine copy of windows) I didn't receive a boxed windows CD or the activation key. I am assuming the builder has moved my windows reg on to another build he is making.

END SCENARIO
=============

I am unsure of why I can't see a boot to bios screen. I don't know if it's a signal issue between all devices.
I can't install "Fast Boot" as no Admin rights are available. I can't even install a fresh new windows 7 OS due to getting the same signal issue I have outlined in regards to booting to bios

Any tips?

Thanks in advance

Solution
it is against the forum rules to help you crack the password for the bios. on most Msi motherboards if you press the "Delete" key when booting you will get into the bios.

We can't help you bypass any passwords. Discussions on how to bypass security measures are not allowed on Tom's Hardware forums. We simply have no means to verify you are the rightful owner of the system in question.

So, how did you create a Guest account without admin privileges (this is your clue to solving the problem)?

Also, are you actually asking about a BIOS password (another clue)?
