multiplier overclocking only

Is it ok to just overclock the multiplier? Even when extreme overclocking...like taking a 3.8 chip to above 5.0?

Or is it best at some point to clock up the bus?

If you can't get the system stable from one multiplier selection to the next above it you might want to try the clock bus. A lot of the newer chips won't give you much of a bus change before they start giving errors from what I have seen.
